A fuel station located on Old Akute Road in the Obawole area of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Lagos, was engulfed in flames on Wednesday.
The fire reportedly broke out while a petrol tanker was offloading fuel at the station.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed the incident.

In response to a concerned resident on Twitter, Gawat added that it appeared the fire may have started from a building behind the filling station.
