A fire has reportedly broken out at the Dangote Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
According to reports gathered by Dockaysworld, emergency personnel are currently on-site working to put out the fire.
In a viral video, a thick smoke was seen emanating from a part of the yet-to-be-completed refinery.
Some workers at the refinery were also heard calling for help to prevent the fire from escalating.
The cause of the fire cannot be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
The refinery which is the world’s largest single-train refinery is owned by Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
