Lagos State on high alert as Flood Sweeps Areas, Drowns Bike rider

Some areas in Lagos state including the Oko Oba area of Agege are on high alert over the worsening flood situation, with one bike rider been drowned.

The nationwide flooding situation has only exacerbated living conditions for citizens.

Recall Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin had recently waded into some submerged parts of Delta state to offer relief.

The recent flood in Lagos saw a bike rider who tried to brave the waters succumbing to the waves and drowning in full view of helpless onlookers.

This happened in Agege with many resident moving out of the area and also the street behind Abimbola Awoniyi Estate in New Oko Oba, near Abule Egba, Lagos.

A video seen online by Dockaysworld showed the deserted area with water overflowing.
