Ghana High commissioner to Nigeria dies in Abuja

Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Rawhide Bawa, is dead.

He died on Thursday, March 14, in Abuja.

He was 65 years.

His body was flown to his homeland, Ghana’s Kadjebi, Oti Region, on Friday.

He will buried according to Islamic traditions.

Until his death, he was a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a former Member of Parliament.

He previously served as Ghana’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia and represented the Akan Constituency in Parliament from 2001 to 2005.

In 2017, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointed him as Ghana’s high commissioner to Nigeria.
