Florence Nwaeke, the wife of Dr. George Nwaeke, the former Head of Service of Rivers State, has expressed deep concern about her husband’s safety and location following his recent resignation.
She revealed that after Dr. Nwaeke traveled to Abuja and informed her of his safe arrival, she was later surprised to learn he had participated in an interview making allegations against Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Florence insists that the individual in the interview did not appear to be her husband and fears he may be acting under duress.
She has attempted to contact him without success and is now appealing to Nigerians for assistance, stating, “My husband is in trouble.”
In response to Dr. Nwaeke’s claims, Governor Fubara suggested that the former Head of Service has been compromised and is fulfilling obligations to those who may have coerced him.
