The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the names of the highest-scoring candidates in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination held across the country.
The list was made public during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Abuja on Monday. The candidates scored between 367 and 372 in the examination.
A candidate from Ogun State, Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin, emerged as the highest scorer with 372 marks. She is from Ekiti State and chose the University of Lagos for MBBS.
Another candidate, Enwere Kingsley Ikenna, who sat for the examination in Lagos State, scored 370. He is from Imo State and selected Nile University to study Computer Science.
Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel also made the list with 369 marks. He wrote the examination in Ogun State, hails from Ondo State and applied to the Federal University of Technology, Akure to study Software Engineering.
Olabiyisi Olanrewaju Oluwatimileyin scored 368 and chose Pan-Atlantic University for Mechatronics Engineering. The candidate is from Oyo State, although the state where the examination was written was not stated.
Victor-Onyeka Daniel Ifeanyi, who sat for the examination in Rivers State, also scored 368. He is from Imo State and applied to the University of Port Harcourt to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Osagiobare Daniel Osahenrumwen from Edo State scored 368 and selected the University of Benin for Mechanical Engineering.
Another candidate, Ademiluyi Adebowale Anthony, scored 368 after sitting for the examination in Osun State. He also comes from Osun State and chose Obafemi Awolowo University for Computer Engineering.
Azuike Kenechukwu Anthony, who took the examination in Lagos State, scored 368. He is from Anambra State and applied to Afe Babalola University to study Software Engineering.
Offorkile Michael Okechukwu from Abia State scored 367 in the examination conducted in Anambra State. He applied for Computer Science.
Adebisi Eniola Sonari, who sat for the examination in Osun State, also scored 367. He is from Ogun State and selected Covenant University for Computer Science.
Another candidate on the list, Umukoro Gift Orhenevovwero, scored 367 after writing the examination in Edo State. He is from Delta State and chose the University of Lagos to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
