The Court of Appeal in Abuja has confirmed the victory of PDP's Bala Mohammed as the Governor of Bauchi State earlier today

The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has confirmed the victory of Bala Mohammed as the governor of Bauchi State.

The judgement was declared earlier today as the court dismissed the appeal filed by the APC’s candidate and confirmed Mohammed as the new Governor.

Meanwhile, the Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Auwal Jatau, in a statement through his Special Assistant on Media, Muslim Lawal, revealed his happiness over the judgement of the appeal court.

According to him, the deputy governor expressed that the victory at the court not only confirms the strength of democracy, but also reinforces the commitment of the administration of Bala Mohammed towards the development, progress, and well-being of the people of the state.
