Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has defected to the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).

Popular actress Tonto Dikeh has made a noteworthy shift in her political allegiance, leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the ranks of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Previously, Tonto Dikeh ran for the position of deputy governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State, in the 2023 elections, but she lost to PDP.
To commemorate her switch, a formal introduction ceremony is slated to take place today at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja at 3 p.m.

According to The Nation, event will be presided over by Dr. Mary Alile, the APC National Women Leader.
This decision by Tonto Dikeh has certainly stirred the political landscape and has raised many eyebrows.
