Kogi Election: I’ll not challenge APC’s victory at tribunal – PDP’s Dino Melaye

PDP's Dino Melaye has insisted that he will not challenge the victory of APC during the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State because he no longer believes in the judiciary

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the recent Kogi governorship election, Dino Melaye, has insisted that he will not challenge the electoral victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the November 11 election because he no longer believes in the judiciary.

Melaye made the statement earlier today where he stated that the judiciary is no longer the last hope for ordinary Nigerians.

He said:

“Judiciary is no longer the last hope of the ordinary people, it’s now a department under the All Progressives Congress.

Why should any responsible person go to the tribunal when the APC has captured the judiciary? I’ve lost complete confidence in the judiciary.”

Recall Dockaysworld reported that APC’s Usman Ododo was declared winner of the governorship election in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ododo had defeated Melaye and Social Democratic Party, SDP’s Muri Ajaka to emerge winner in the concluded election in Kogi state.
