Man shares transformation of little girl rescued after being abandoned by mentally challenged mother [photos]

A young man identified as Benkingsley Nwashara, has shared the drastic transformation of a little girl he rescued 5 months ago.

The young man had rescued the girl in June 2022 and has been taken care of her ever since. According to Ben, she had been diagnosed with kwarshiorkor but is doing better now.

He had stated that the baby’s mom was a mentally challenged woman who had apparently been raped by an unknown man.

He wrote:

I just picked an abandoned 2yr old baby by the roadside somewhere in Agbani, Enugu State. She was given birth to by a mad woman who normally stays at Eke Agbani.
Took her to the police station and the
DPO said we should take her home and clean her up and bring her back
tomorrow.
This was Testimony the night I tool 6no her up from her ruins and near death two days ago.
I refused posting this gory video because I didn’t have the nerve to watch it.
Even an adult couldn’t have survived this. God!

5 months later and Ben has posted beautiful pictures of the little girl who’s know glowing and much better off than when he found her.

Nigerians have taken to the comments to share gratitude and praise for the young man as they praised his goodwill. Some also stated that the little girl was a blessing as he was also looking better than when he found her.

He wrote:

You can’t tell me that God is not faithful.
She went from being an abandoned child diagnosed with Kwashiokor to being plump and with a home and family.
God is the greatest.
