National disgrace as 14 Nigerian drug dealers arrested in India (Photos)

Reports coming in show that 14 Nigerian drug dealers have been arrested by the Byculla police in South Mumbai, India. 7 of the dealers were caught on sunday. 

On December 15, multiple teams of zone III arrested seven Nigerians who had killed 4 policemen in a gunfight. The police had recovered drugs worth Rs 21 lakh, a country made revolver, 550 grams of MD, 110 grams of brown sugar and Rs 41,000 in cash.

Informants revealed to the police that more members of the gang were near the Byculla railway tracks. The police set a trap and caught the remaining seven dealers. They recovered 10 cartridges, seven passports whose visas had expired, 55 grams of cocaine, cash of 200 US Dollars, Rs 3.80 lakhs, a button knife, a digital weighing machines and two mobile phones.

The gang had been notorious for moving in large numbers and shooting at police to intimidate them.

The culprits had continued staying in India illegally after their visas had expired. The Visas had been issued to them in Bangladesh.
