The Supreme Court has restated that the old Naira notes including 200, 500, and 1000 Naira are still legal tender.
The court made the clarification on said its February 8 order, which called for a half of further action.
Recall that the Supreme court suspended the implementation of the February 10 deadline by the CBN on the 8th of February.

The Supreme Court adjourned the case till Wednesday, February 22 for a hearing of the consolidated suits by 10 states including Kogi, Kaduna, and Zamfara States, among others.
