The Executive Governor of Kaduna state Nasir El-Rufai, has said the naira swap policy was introduced by the opposition party, the PDP to enable them win the general elections.
El-Rufai who spoke after the Supreme Court ruling mandating the circulation of old naira notes till December 31st, 2023 said the CBN Governor was appointed during the era of the PDP and was secretly working for them.
He stated that despite the challenges, the APC Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu still ended up winning the election as the PDP failed to meet the target.

They blamed the opposition party for the hardship of Nigerians caused by the policy which made cash unavailable and accused Emefiele of deceiving President Muhammadu Buhari.
