Peter Obi visits Dele Farotimi after release from prison


Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has paid a visit to human rights activist and lawyer, Dele Farotimi.

Farotimi was earlier remanded in prison custody following allegations of character defamation levelled against him by another lawyer, Afe Babalola.

In a photo post made on his personal X account, Obi said he visited Farotimi on Thursday, January 2, after meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

During the interaction, Peter Obi expressed his delight at reuniting with Farotimi and commended his steadfast commitment to advocating for a better Nigeria, even in the face of personal challenges.
