Photos of kidnappers who abducted 20 Nigerian medical students emerge


Photos of the kidnappers responsible for the abduction of 20 medical students from the University of Maiduguri and the University of Jos have surfaced on the internet.

The images, now circulating widely, provide a first glimpse of some of the the criminals behind the nine-day ordeal.

Meanwhile, the police have confirmed that no ransom was paid to secure the release of the students.

Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, clarified this in a statement, dispelling rumors that money had exchanged hands.

He said that the rescue operation, carried out on August 23, 2024, in Ntunkon Forest, Benue State, was a result of strategic and professional efforts by security forces.
