Police arrest GSU student for allegedly throwing her newborn baby down 3-storey building

A female student of the Gombe state University has been arrested by police for throwing her newborn baby down a 3-storey building

  • The unidentified student tossed the newborn baby immediately after she put to bed
  • She had reportedly concealed her pregnancy underneath her hijab for months

A female student of Gombe State University (GSU) has been arrested by men of the Nigerian police force for allegedly throwing her newborn baby down a 3-storey building.

The student whose identity is yet to be disclosed by the authorities, was said to have tossed the day old baby and which ended in death of the child.

Dockaysworld gathered that tragic act reportedly occurred at the girls’ hostel on Saturday morning, September 9, 2023.

The baby was found near Hall IV of the female hostels by passerby who raised the alarm.

Eyewitnesses say she carried out the act just after delivering the child unbeknownst to many as she’d been hiding the hijab in her gown for months.
