#Endbadgovernance: Police officers mistakenly kill colleague while trying to shoot peaceful protesters in Katsina


According to multiple social media reports, there was chaos in Katsina State after police officers, attempting to disperse protesters, reportedly shot one of their own.

Dockaysworld gathered that the incident occurred on Friday the 2nd of August, being the second day of the ongoing protests against bad governance, economic hardship, and hunger.

According viral videos shared by FS Yusuf on X, the chaotic scene began when police officers began firing at protesters, resulting in one officer being hit by his colleagues.

The officer was seen lying in a pool of blood surrounded by a crowd.
