Posters promoting Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, for the 2027 presidential election have appeared on major streets in Bauchi.
The posters, which bear the words “Kaura for President 2027,” were seen at various locations including roundabouts, signboards, and electric poles along streets like Railway Road, Sabon Titin Karofi, and Kofar Dumi.
According to a youth involved in the pasting of the posters, Aminu Auwal, the job was commissioned by two local political figures, Ya’u Ortega and Talolo.
He mentioned that they began posting the materials at about 1 a.m. and planned to complete the task the same day.
Attempts to contact Ortega and Talolo for further comments were unsuccessful, as their phones were unreachable.
However, no official declaration of candidacy has been made by him.
