The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, has revealed that the battle for Nigeria’s freedom has just began.

He made the declaration on Monday while reacting to the ruling of the Supreme Court on the 2023 presidential election.

The Apex court while throwing out appeals filed by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, upheld Tinubu’s election, saying he is the rightful winner.

Damagum while addressing PDP members and chieftains at the world press conference organized by Atiku, told everyone not to be discouraged.

He said;

“We may be disappointed, but we are not deterred because we know what happened underground. People are not jubilating because of the situation we have found ourselves in the country.”

“We want Nigerians to know our position. The battle will start from Today. We are resolute. All PDP members should not be deterred.”
