Some gunmen have kidnapped a farmer and a labourer in Oke Oge, a community in Akure North, Ondo State.
The victims were taken on Saturday evening while returning from Akure airport.
The head of Amotekun, the local security group, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the incident.

He said his team is working to rescue the victims.

“The victims were kidnapped while coming back from the farm. Our men are already searching for them,” he said.
Reports say the kidnappers have contacted the victims’ families and are demanding N15 million before releasing them.
A family member confirmed that the kidnappers insist on getting the money.
