After reattempting login, users are met with error messages.

While Facebook requires existing users to login to their accounts, Instagram account profiles of users and homepage could not be refreshed.

The outage extended to Facebook Messenger, with users being redirected to a login screen where credentials are seemingly not being accepted.

Threads app is also affected.

The extent and cause of these disruptions remain unclear.

Mark Zuckerberg has not responded to the situation yet; however many are speculating that it might be a technical or server glitch.
