The Counsel of activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has revealed that the detained influencer has met his bail conditions but has not been released.
The lawyer who gave an update via a video shared online, said that the bail conditions were very stringent and were changed each time his client met therm till he finally met all the conditions.
He added that Verydarkman has however remained in custody because the police said that their senior officer was not yet around to formally release him. He expressed hope that the right thing would be done.

The lawyer who said VDM’s fans could protest if he wasn’t released, narrated what led to his arrest as he said that those involved included Samklef, Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh.
According to him, despite getting him arrested the first time, they had continued to writer petitions to different departments of the Nigerian Police Force to get the matter restarted.
He also pondered on why there wasn’t more outrage for acts considered to be of the lgbtq community while his client was being harassed.
