The cult war in Edo State has taken a new turn as the Eiye and Maphite confraternities recently declared war on the Black Axe [Aye] cult group.
In videos which have since gone viral on line, they could be seen showing off newly acquired weapons which they would use to wreak havoc on their enemies.
They had planned to raid the University of Benin where they would get down key members of the rival cult groups.

There have been about 20 deaths recorded so far and the war is rumored to have started or involved the murder of UNIBEN student Aficionado, about a month ago.
This is coming after the Eiyes already murdered an Aye member some days ago and cut out his heart.
