Popular Nigerian actress Ini Edo, has revealed the reason she opted for surrogacy to get her children despite not having a husband.

In an interview with Chude, the Nollywood veteran disclosed that she had opted for surrogacy because she had suffered some miscarriages in the past but was determined to have her own children.

Ini stated that she didn’t care what people thought about her decision as she realized she was only living for herself and did not need the validation of others.

She pointed out that this gave her the sense of validity in going on with her decision to become a single mom to her girls.
