A Nigerian widow has cried out after her son was allegedly caught and extorted of N70k by SARS officials on his way back from the market.
The woman lamented that she was just a widow and had no one to give her financial assistance. She called on authorities including the Lagos State Governor to aid her in the return of her money,
Instagram user @jumi_berry who shared the video, said the widow broke down after SARS operatives allegedly extorted her son who was returning from Oyingbo market in Lagos of her business capital.
According to her, the lady’s son was accused of being a yahoo boy. In another video she shared, she showed the son and his phone which didn’t even have internet access. She also said that the boy was honest and didn’t even have a laptop.
