An Islamic cleric, identified as Mustapha, has said he only slept with his wife’s 17-year-old sister once, after he was arrested by the Lagos Police Command.
Mustapha confessed to the crime but retained that he only did it once and not three times as he was accused by the victim daily trust reports.
The 38 year-old Cleric was arrested and detained at Bariga police station after some neighbours who caught him in the act raised alarm which attracted members of the public

It was gathered that the girl resides at Bariga area of Lagos with her elder sister and her husband.
The Child Protection Agency (CPA), Shomolu unit began investigation into the case of defilement against Mustapha.
The investigation was said to have revealed that Mustapha had been sleeping with the underage girl whenever his wife was not around.
During interrogation, the girl narrated how her sister’s husband used to defile her and that she had confided in two of their neighbours but that the women did not believe her story.
Mustapha was eventually caught red handed on February 16th having relations with the girl.
The police said:
“The suspect initially denied the act but later opened up that he only had sex with the girl once and not thrice as alleged.
“The girl has been directed to undergo a medical examination at the Mirabel Centre to determine the extent of the damage done to her.
“Further investigation are still ongoing before case is transferred to court.”
