Young promising AAU student dies after spending months in EFCC custody

A young student of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma, identified as Austin Isaiah, has reportedly died after he spent months in the custody of the Economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC following his arrest.

Friends of the deceased have taken to social media to offer condolences and demand justice for his death.

According to them, he had been arrested for something he ‘knew nothing about” and after being released following months in jail, he fell ill and died shortly after.

The Anti-graft agency is yet to respond to the claims of the deceased family.
