3 shot as cultists allegedly clash in UNIBEN [Video]

There was pandemonium today inside the University of Benin (UNIBEN) campus after three persons were reportedly shot.

The exact cause of the shooting cannot be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, but sources say it may be linked to an ongoing supremacy battle between two rival cult groups.

A 500-level engineering Student at the Faculty of Physical Sciences was reportedly killed.

A video seen by Dockaysworld showed the moment authorities were disposing of the deceased body in a truck.

The Edo State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident at the time of filing this report.

UNIBEN is not new to cult clashes as the institution has always been a hotbed of cultism.

Recall that in 2019, a 200-level student, Moses Adeshina aka Aficionado was murdered by alleged cultists during the UNIBEN Faculty of Arts final year week.

His body was abandoned while the assailants took off after the shooting.
