Pretty Mike faces jail time over 384kg of canadian loud seized at Lagos nightclub

The NDLEA has confirmed that Lagos socialite Pretty Mike faces potential jail time and will remain in detention as investigations continue over a major drug seizure following his arrest on Sunday.

The NDLEA said its operatives recovered 384 kilograms of Canadian Loud, a potent strain of cannabis and other illicit substances from Pretty Mike’s Proxy Night Club in Victoria Island during a weekend raid.

Recall, Dockaysworld reported that Pretty Mike, BBNaija’s Tuoyo and others were arrested at the club.

His manager, Joachin Millary, was also arrested.

According to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, operatives acted on intelligence and conducted surveillance before storming the club, where a “drug party” was in progress.

Over 100 attendees were detained but later released after profiling and counselling, while Pretty Mike and his manager remain in custody as the principal suspects.

The agency condemned the growing trend of drug parties in social circles, describing them as criminal gatherings that promote substance abuse and threaten public safety.

It said organizers of such events who advertise or invite people to gatherings centered on drug use will face prosecution for incitement and conspiracy.

NDLEA also warned nightclub operators, hotel owners, and event center managers to be cautious.

They noted that any property found to be used for drug-related activities will be confiscated and forfeited to the Federal Government.

The agency urged parents, community leaders, and citizens to remain vigilant and report such activities to help curb the rising drug abuse problem in the country.
