A lawyer who represented Sophia Momodu in her custody case has issued a pre-action notice against Afrobeats star Davido, demanding N1 billion over alleged cyberbullying and defamation.
Recall Dockaysworld reported that the singer withdrew from the custody battle over his daughter, saying he only sought joint custody and dropped the case after his deceased son was mentioned during cross-examination at the High Court in Yaba, Lagos.
In a letter dated February 24, 2026, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah accused Davido of verbally attacking her during a court session and refusing to apologise when directed.
She also alleged that he later posted about her on social media, calling her the “worst lawyer ever,” which led to threats and abusive messages from his followers.
Her legal team is demanding a public apology, a retraction on his social media pages and in two national newspapers, and N1 billion in damages.
They gave him seven days to meet the demands or face legal action at the High Court of Lagos State.
