Again: SARS shooting leaves Man hospitalized, girlfriend dead in Lagos [Photos]

A man identified as Emmanuel aka AJ main boy, has been hospitalized and is currently battling for his life, while his girlfriend, Jessica Ada, has died, after they were shot by SARS Operatives while returning from a club on Saturday, April 14, 2019, in Lagos. 

According to reports, the couple had gone out Friday night with a friend to Club J5 in Olodi Apapa, and were accosted by SARS operatives while they were returning home at about 6:30AM on Saturday. 

The officers had been on a bike and were not easily identifiable by Emmanuel who was driving, hence he did not stop when they ordered him to do so.

He went on to drop off his girlfriend at her home when the officers arrived and opened fire on them.

Jessica was shot twice in the belly and once on the lap, while her boyfriend was shot at the back of his head, but their friend was unhurt. 

The officers were later identified by some eyewitnesses and the DPO of Trinity Police Station confirmed that they have been transferred to the headquarters in Ikeja for interrogation.

Recall, a young man identified as Kolade Johnson was also shot and killed by operatives of the anti cultism squad, while watching a football match at a viewing centre in lagos. His killer was however dismissed from the force and is currently undergoing prosecution
