EFCC arrest young man for hacking over 100 Facebook accounts

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Port Harcourt’s Zonal Office, has arrested one Okohwan Kelvin who is notorious for hacking over 100 FaceBook accounts in Warri, Delta State. 

After a tip off by members of the public, the authorities had monitored the online activities of the suspect who had allegedly hacked their facebook accounts via a phisting link he sent them. 

Preliminary investigations showed that Kelvin had hacked about one hundred FaceBook accounts using phishing links generated from an online hacking website. 

Information gathered revealed that the suspect had sold several of the hacked accounts to fellow fraudsters who had proceeded to use them for illegal activities.

In some cases, he used many of the accounts himself to defraud friends of his victims. He would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
