Kidnappers finally release CMD of Irrua Specialist Hospital Edo state

Dr Sylvanus Okogbenin, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital ISTH in Edo state, who was kidnapped about a week ago has finally been released by his abductors.

The state Commissioner of Police, Danmallam Mohammed,  announced the development to newsmen as he added that Okogbenin was released unharmed. 

Okogbenin was kidnapped on Monday August 26th, along Ramat Park, Ikpoba-Okha local government area of the state while he was returning to Benin city, the state capital with two of his police guards being killed in the process.
