‘I have made series of covenant with my God, i promise to become an agent of change in prison’ Kidnapper Evans

Notorious kidnapper Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, said he has made a covenant with God and his believing him for a miracle in his life pertaining to his trial for kidnapping.

In an interview with THE SUN, Evans said he is hoping on God for a second chance to turn a new leaf

He said: “I already have a covenant with God. If police take me to court, I told God that I will not tell lies against the police or victims. “I promise to tell the court the truth about any crime that I am guilty of. Please, people of Nigeria should forgive me. “I just believe in God for a miracle. “I will serve God all my life. I also promised the police that I will help them to fight crime,” he said.

The billionaire kidnapper who pleaded guilty to 52 charges leveled against him by the police said he has repented and is now a pastor.

He said it was never his intention to kill anyone during his flourishing days as a kidnapper, saying that the only time a live was lost was when they attempted to abduct the chairman of The Young Shall Grow Motors.

‘ it was an unfortunate incident, we were attacked and there was exchange of gunshot. They shot at us and my gang members shot back at them. It was in the morning that I heard that one inspector and the driver who drove the man died during the gun battle. I have totally regretted everything about crime. It does not pay. I keep telling people to learn from my story. Crime does not pay’. Everything I acquired all these years are gone just in a day. evans said.

Evans is likely to face a life sentence having pleaded guilty to two count charges in court, although his trial is still ongoing. One of his accomplice Amadi, has also pleaded guilty to the crimes.
