If you’re tired, please retire – Swanky replies Toyin Lawani after she mocked AMVCA best dressed

Celebrity stylist Jeremiah Ogbodo popularly known as Swanky Jerry has blasted his colleague Toyin Lawani for making fun of the winners of the best dressed category at the AMVCA’s last night.

Toyin had referred to the winners as jokes as her clients were better dressed than everyone else on the awards night.

Swanky who styled Mercy, the winner of the best dressed female at the award reacted to the criticism by noting that all young creatives put in the work and got the deserved recognition.

He advised that young creatives shouldn’t allow Toyin’s words deter them from continuing to do their best as they would be rewarded.

He asked Toyin to rest if she was tired of the business of styling in his post on instagram stories.

At the show, ‘Living in bondage’ had the most awards with Timini Egbuson clinching the best actor award and his Co star Toyin Abraham bagging the best actress award.
