Just in: NYSC ends Nationwide orientation camp 2 weeks early over Coronavirus pandemic

The National Youth Service Corps has abruptly ended the 3 weeek orientation camp for prospective Corp members due to the Coronavirus pandemics.

Recall Nigeria’s third case of the disease was confirmed yesterday as a Nigerian National who flew in from the United Kingdom.

Corp members were instructed to collect their transport allowances and proceed to their primary places of assignment immediately after receiving their postings.

The country has stepped up efforts to fight the disease from gaining a foothold by preventive measures.

The Corp members were also told to remain in the respective states as they could be recalled to restart camp if necessary.
