BREAKING: Atiku’s son tests positive to Coronavirus

The former Vice President and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar’s son has tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The politician made this known via his twitter account to his teeming followers and fans across the media platform.

He also announced that his son had been moved to Gwagwalada for further treatment following the diagnosis.

He urged Nigerians that Coronavirus was indeed real and asked that they stay safe during this period.

He enjoined Nigerians to put his son in their prayers during the time of his ailment.

He tweeted:

“My son has tested positive to coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada
Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real. -AA”

This makes Atiku’s son the first public person in Nigeria to be confirmed positive for the virus.

Outside Nigeria, many celebrities and public office holders have tested positive including Idris Elba, Tom Hanks and others.
