I haven’t seen his body till today – Widow whose son was killed at Lekki Tollgate returns two years after [video]

A widow has gone to the EndSARS memorial event at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos to lament the loss of her son two years earlier and the lack of a body to bury.

The widow who hails from Akwa Ibom made this known while speaking to Arise TV in her native dialect and translated by another man.

She insisted that her son was killed in the shooting at the Lekki tollgate in Lagos state on October 20, 2020.

The reporter had asked if he might be amongst those detained by the police since the end of the EndSARS protests.

She however said that eyewitnesses had confirmed that he’d been shot in the head but she was unable to retrieve his body till this day.

Recall Dockaysworld reported that protesters at the endSARS memorial had been fired with tear gas canisters and hounded by men of the Nigerian police.
