Student who criticized Aisha Buhari finally regains freedom [photos]

The final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State Aminu Mohammed, who was arrested after tweeting that the First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, “fed fat of the poor” has been released on Friday night.

The release of Aminu was confirmed by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), who shared a pictures of their colleague on social media.

Recall Mohammed was arrested at Federal University Dutse on November 18, 2022 after Mrs Buhari instructed a team of police detectives to track him down.

After bowing to pressure and withdrawing her case, the young man was said to be awaiting a meeting with President Buhari before being released.
