Akpabio removes Natasha from Senate position, appoints replacement

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has removed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from her position as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Diaspora and Non-Governmental Organisations.

The latest change means that Senator Natasha will no longer lead any committee in the Senate.

Earlier in February, she was also removed as Chair of the Senate Committee on Local Content and moved to the Diaspora and NGOs Committee.

Senator Aniekan Bassey, who represents Akwa Ibom North East, has been appointed as her replacement for the Diaspora and NGOs Committee.
