The party’s primary election is scheduled for next month, with the general election slated for November this year.

Oritedi announced his decision to step down and merge his campaign structures with the Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation (OOCA) during the inauguration of ward and constituency campaign coordinators held in Akure, the state capital.

Meanwhile, Oke charged the coordinators to ensure his success in the upcoming APC governorship primary, emphasizing the importance of grassroots mobilization.

He declared his confidence in emerging as the next governor of Ondo State, citing his commitment to the state’s development and prosperity.

The director-general of the Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation, Bailey Arohunmolase, urged the coordinators to remain steadfast and reject any misleading endorsements from otherquarters.

He emphasized Oke’s suitability for the position and urged them to spread the message of his candidacy across the state.

Former Ondo State House of Assembly member, Oyebo Aladetan, highlighted Oke’s support base in the southern senatorial district and appealed to other districts to join in endorsing Oke’s gubernatorial ambition.

Aladetan praised Oke’s past contributions to the development of the state and emphasized his empathy and support for the people, citing examples of scholarship awards that benefited many individuals.
