BREAKING: Access Holdings PLC Announces New Chairman

Access Holdings Plc (the Holdco) has disclosed that Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede will resume his role as Non-Executive Chairman following the unexpected demise of Herbert Wigwe, the former Group Chief Executive Officer.

After consulting with crucial stakeholders, the Holdco Board collectively opted to extend an invitation to Aig-Imoukhuede to oversee the company’s governance. Consequently, Abubakar Jimoh, the previous Chairman of the Holdco, will transition to the role of an Independent Non-Executive Director while remaining on the Board.

In the announcement via the official X handle of its bank, @myaccessbank wrote, “Join us in welcoming Mr. Aigboje AIG-Imoukhuede as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Access Holdings PIc.

“We look forward to a promising future and the continued success of our great institution under his leadership.”
