Court Sacks Kwankwaso, Confirms NNPP Candidate Election
The Court of Appeal, Abuja division has removed Musa Ilyasu Kwankwaso of the All Progressive Congress APC, as a member of the House of Representative for the Kura/Madobi/Garun Malam Federal Constituency.
The Court confirmed the election of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP candidate, Yusuf Umar Datti.
Datti was granted an appeal in a three-panel judgment session, led by Justice Tunde Oyebamiji Awotoye.

The judge also added that Section 77 of the Electoral act was misinterpreted. So, no court has power on the issue of membership of the party.
