First bank announces important update for customers


One of Nigeria’s leading banks, First Bank of Nigeria has released an important update to her customers.

This was contained in a statement obtained on the bank’s official website.

The update reads, “Further to the mandate of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for additional prefixes to be added to landlines and modification to country codes for international calls, please note the following:

All mobile telecommunication network users, aside 9mobile users, will now need to add ‘02’ to our 01-4485500 number to be able to reach us. That is, all other mobile network users will now reach our FirstContact Center by dialing 02014485500.
