Godwin Emefiele is not with us – DSS Cries Out

The Department of State Services (DSS) has said that Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, is not in their custody contrary to earlier reports.

The service made this known through a brief message on the official Twitter page where they gave the update.

Recall that reports spread that the m governor was arrested moments after his suspension from office by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While the DSS did not deny initially arresting Emefiele, they have however assured that he is not their custody at the moment.
