How Cross, others advised me to dump Angel – BBNaija’s Soma

Former Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Soma, has spoken on the pressure he’s facing from some of his fellow housemates, including Cross, to reconsider his relationship with Angel.

Soma and Angel’s love story has been a central focus of this season’s show, despite both of them having partners outside of the house.

In an exclusive interview with Glitch Africa Studios, Soma revealed that fellow housemates have been advising him to cut ties with Angel and even urged him to take things slow.

He specifically mentioned Cross as one of the housemates who expressed concerns about his relationship with Angel, but Soma remained resolute in his affection for her.

Angel, who was present during the interview, questioned why their fellow contestants were against their relationship, emphasizing that most of them don’t really know her, except for Mercy Eke.

This revelation comes after Soma’s earlier statement during an interview with Ebuka Uchendu, where he expressed his preference for staying in the house with Angel over reuniting with his old girlfriend outside of the show.

He cited his growing intimacy with Angel as the reason for ending his previous relationship, believing that his former girlfriend would never accept him again.

Prior to their entry into the Big Brother Naija house, both Soma and Angel were involved in separate romantic relationships.

However, their connection inside the house became increasingly stronger with each passing day, eventually blossoming into a romantic relationship.

The couple publicly announced their decision to leave their past relationships behind and focus on their budding romance, with Soma boldly declaring that he would choose Angel over the show’s grand prize if he had to make the choice.
