BBNaija Season 7 winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, is  has raised concerns about her mental health.

The reality TV star has recently made headlines after reports surfaced that she distanced herself from her family following her victory and the receipt of the N100 million grand prize from the reality show in 2022.

In a newspaper interview, Mr. Felix Otabor, Phyna’s father, expressed his distress, claiming that his daughter “disappeared into thin air” as soon as she received her prize money, and she has not returned to her parents since.

He mentioned that Phyna neither initiates contact nor responds to their calls, leaving the family in a state of worry.

Phyna, in response to the newspaper interview, initially threatened legal action against the publication, which has since been deleted.

She also took to her Snapchat to share her side of the story, making some startling allegations against her parents.

In her Snapchat posts, Phyna revealed a troubled family history, alleging that her parents never showed her any parental love and often told her she wasn’t their daughter.

She stated,

Growing up, I always hear you are not my daughter…yet I would beg for parental love. The truth is I have always begged people to love me. Today I have finally accepted it. I guess I am an orphan.

Phyna said that if she were to die, her body should not be buried but given to her parents to eat, adding, “They must eat my corpse.”

In a new Instagram post on Friday evening, Phyna disclosed that she is going through a challenging period.

Jokes apart, I’m going through hell of sh**s. The internal battles I fight are way bigger than me. Very honestly, for the very first time, my mental health is at stake.
