Lady expresses shock as ATM only dispenses N1K after standing in queue for hours [video]

A lady has been left flabbergasted after a bank automated teller machine(ATM) refused to give out more than 1000 naira.

Following the extension of the deadline by the central bank of Nigeria for the return of old notes, there have been nationwide queues for the new naira notes.

The young lady in a video seen by Dockaysworld, was shocked when the guard at the bank told her that only 1000 naira could be withdrawn despite her input of N1000.

The move has been cited as a means to curb hoarding and ensure the naira circulates as intended.
