In the early hours of Good Friday, a tragic accident occurred on Kara Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
At least three people are feared dead, and several others were injured in a multiple vehicle crash that happened around 6:30 a.m.
Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicles involved were speeding, which likely contributed to the crash.

The accident caused a major traffic jam in the area, with some drivers resorting to driving against traffic to escape the gridlock.
As of 7:00 a.m., only a few first responders were at the scene, trying to rescue victims and clear the wreckage, while emergency teams were still being awaited.
