Pastor Chris Okafor has publicly apologized to Nigerian actress Doris Ogala after over a week of allegations of abandonment, sexual misconduct and more.
The clergyman offered the apology during Sunday service as he acknowledged the actress and asked her to forgive him, even going on his knees on the pulpit to drive his remorse.
While Pastor Okafor denied that everything Doris has alleged was not true, he still claimed responsibility, stating that he wasn’t a perfect man and also apologizing to others who he may have offended.
Recall Doris had made a series of allegations including that the pastor had shared her private videos, made her to get an abortion for him, buried untoward things under his alter, paid her to defame other pastors and more.
Dockaysworld also reported that Doris sued Pastor Chris over alleged breach of promise to marry.
It’s unclear which of the allegations the pastor is taking responsibility for as there have been varying reactions to his apology.
The actress in her response, accepted the apology via an Instagram post but took offense to her words being tagged lies.
She wrote: “Chris okafor please don’t kneel. This was all I wanted. Apology accepted.
CHRIS OKAFOR I FORGIVE YOU BUT THERES A PROBLEM. WHERE YOU SAID EVERYTHING IS A LIE. I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT BECAUSE I DONT LIE”
